North East Help Link Trust is a registered charity with a Christian ethic founded in 1991 to help the homeless and disadvantaged in the North East of England.
The Trust provides regular meals for the homeless throughout the North East. In addition to this, we provide clothing and blankets, advice and a listening ear. Our clients often just need a helping hand for a short while to take them through what is probably the most difficult period of their life. I am sure that we would all like to think that if we were in desperate need of help someone would step up and offer a helping hand. This is what NEHL tries to do for the homeless people that we endeavour to help and support – provide that helping hand.
In 2012 more than 14 000 hot meals and drinks were served to clients of NEHL kitchens.
Our work requires a lot of commitment from the people directly and indirectly involved, and for this dedication and enthusiasm we remain forever grateful.
Kitchens will be running from Monday to Thursday from 4.30-5.30pm in The Hope Foundation car park from Monday 11th November.
